Night Angels
Working together for a safer community
Who are the Night Angels?
The Night Angels were launched in Stroud on 22nd of December 2023, the day Trio nightclub opened for business. The Angels patrol the town centre until Trio closes for the night, if Trio isn’t open then they patrol until The Lord John is closed.
The Night Angels go out in teams of 2 (or more) and are equipped with first aid, AED, period products, phone chargers, anti spiking products, alarms, water, sweets, clothing, blankets, flip flops and more! Some of our Angels are FREC 3 trained and are also Mental Health first aiders.
The Night Angels work closely with the emergency services and local night time economy venues. Our Safe Space Locations can be found throughout the South West and are on our website here (add link to safe space page). If you need a Safe Space please just enter the building and ask for help, if this is on a Friday or Saturday evening and the venue staff can contact the Night Angels who will come and help.
The Night Angels are given extensive training and a DBS, along with the use of uniforms. They are part of an amazing team founded by Chrissie Lowery and a team of wonderful Lead Angels.
The Night Angels can be found in Stroud Town, Gloucester City and Swindon Old Town.
